5 Day 100% Money Back Return Policy for Health

  • This puppy has been checked by a licensed vet before leaving the Seller’s home and the buyer is provided with a report of this physical exam.
  • The buyer is encouraged to have their new puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian within five days of the Puppy Pickup Day. If the vet determines the pup is in poor health, or has health abnormalities that weren’t disclosed by the Breeder’s vet, the puppy may be returned for a full refund of the Puppy Price + Tax, within these five days.
  • Any services or products provided would not be refunded, including but not limited to: traveling fees, boarding, Puppy Preschool, and add on products. Traveling expenses to return the pup will be at the buyer’s expense.
  • Veterinarian documentation is required with microchip info listed in order to process refund.
  • If “Level 2+” or “Moderate/Severe” is noted by the buyer’s vet for any of the flaws specifically listed below, and the original vet missed it, the buyer would qualify for a money back return of your puppy price + tax.

NOT COVERED in the 5 Day Money Back Return Policy for Health:

  1. Mild Umbilical Hernias, Luxating Patellas (Grade 1), Heart Murmur (Grade 1 or “Innocent”), Mild Under or Overbites, and Mild Narrow base Canines.
    If the Breeder’s licensed vet detects any of these flaws, they will always be noted on the records and the Seller will discuss them with the Buyer BEFORE Pick up Day for the Buyer to approve. However, these lower levels are subjective where one vet may not catch it and another vet does.
  2. Giardia/Parasites: It’s possible for Giardia/Coccidia/Parasites to go undetected in a pup, despite a negative stool sample during our routine vet check. It is also possible for any puppy to pick up these AFTER the fecal test has been performed, since we are not able to submit DAILY fecal tests. Due to the unpredictable nature of these microscopic parasites/bacteria, they would not be covered in our 5 day Money Back Guarantee, and should be considered “common” for puppies and always a possibility of occurrence in a new puppy, especially given that stress can trigger a reoccurrence.
  3. Mild Stress Cough/Respiratory Cough: Vaccines can lower the immune system briefly, and sometimes a stress cough is triggered within the week of vaccines for our puppies. If your vet determines that the lungs are clear and nose is clear, this cough is considered mild/viral and not covered.
  4. Any signs of neglect, injuries or abuse that were not documented at last known vet visit prior to your puppy leaving the Breeder.
  • If you do not have your puppy checked by your vet within a 5 day period of leaving our home, you are agreeing to accept the veterinarian evaluation that our vet performed.

1 Year Health Guarantee

We advise AGAINST the Leptovirus shot, and believe that it can cause autoimmune issues in some puppies. Research shows that there is a high number of dogs who have reactions to this vaccine. If you choose to give your dog this shot, please keep this in mind if any future health issues were to arise.

  • If the puppy should die within the first year, the Seller is to be notified within 24 hours of the death. An autopsy/necropsy MUST BE PERFORMED to determine the exact cause of death before validating this agreement. The results shall be sent to the seller in writing. The expense of the autopsy/necropsy shall be the responsibility of the buyer. Certified Vet Documentation will be required to confirm the death of the dog and the written report must contain the microchip number of the dog.
  • If the Autopsy/necropsy determines that your puppy had an inherited congenital condition that was the cause of death before reaching 12 months of age (1 year), it will be replaced with a puppy of equal value or 100% of your purchase price be applied toward a puppy of greater value. If a similar puppy is not available at the time, buyer can select another puppy from the first available litter. If delivery is required, it will be at the buyer’s expense. The dog will not be replaced if it should die from conditions resulting from abuse, neglect, accident or sickness contracted after purchase.
  • We are not responsible for any vet fees after the puppy leaves our care. We have provided an offer for 30 days of FREE coverage by “Trupanion” Pet Insurance, and we encourage the Buyer to activate this coverage on the day before or the day of Puppy Pickup.

Additional Health Coverage (Optional)

  • Puppies have immature immune systems that take time to mature and there are many factors that affect the condition and health of your puppy such as food quality and environmental factors. We are so confident that NuVet Plus will benefit your puppy’s health that we will extend this 1 Year health guarantee an ADDITIONAL 24 months (2 years), if you continue your new puppy on NuVet during that 3 year time. You would be required to purchase it through our online link and use it from take home of the puppy through the end of this guarantee period, as recommended on their label. Failure to be able to provide proof of purchase will make this extended part of the guarantee null and void.

Return Policy

  • The Buyer agrees to notify Doodles and Doxies if the buyer can no longer provide a safe and loving home for this puppy, no matter the age. Doodles and Doxies will ALWAYS take back our dogs.
  • If you can no longer provide a safe and loving home for your puppy, please choose one of the 2 options:
  1. Option 1: If you choose to keep the pup at your home while we help find new families and send them your way, you are in control of any rehoming fee negotiations with that new family. There is no monetary exchange expected from you to us. We offer our resources and assistance freely. We will gladly offer our advice at where we believe the fee should be set, but ultimately you are in control of any fees collected for your dog. We will remain in contact with the chosen family and you will arrange the transfer of your pup to that family.
  2. Option 2: If you are not able to keep the pup during this rehoming time, and decide to return the pup to us, we will assume control of the negotiations of any rehome fee, and that fee will be considered reimbursement for boarding, vet needs, and marketing expenses incurred during the rehoming process.

Spay and Neuter Agreement

  1. Buyer understands and agrees that the Dog shall be used solely as a companion pet and shall not be used for breeding.
  2. Buyer further agrees to have a licensed veterinarian spay or neuter the Dog by the age of 12 months. If, however, Buyer provides Seller with a licensed veterinarian’s written recommendation for delaying the spaying or neutering beyond the age of 12 months for health reasons, Seller will agree to extend this requirement up until the Dog reaches the age of 1 year, 6 months.
  3. Buyer shall provide Seller written confirmation that the Dog has been spayed or neutered within 10 days of the procedure.
  4. Buyer expressly agrees that under no circumstances will Buyer transfer the Dog to a third party prior to avoid spaying or neutering.
  5. Buyer understands and agrees that failure to comply with the Spay/Neuter agreement voids any health guarantee provided under this Agreement.
  6. Buyer agrees that any violation of the spay/neuter requirement is considered an act of neglect, and Seller has the right to remove the dog if buyer is unable to spay/neuter. Accidental or intentional litters for any reason will have a financial penalty of $5000 per litter (resulting in 1 or more puppies) payable to the breeder due to this breach of contract. Breeding rights are given selectively and include an additional fee, and a separate contract.

Additional Sales Terms

  • The seller does not guarantee size, color, conformation, show/breeding quality, breeding ability, or behavioral characteristics of this puppy. This includes puppies that are purchased with full registration and/or with the intention of breeding. We guarantee no flaws at the time of their first vet check.
  • If the pup is resold, given away or transfers ownership without our knowledge, guarantee is void.
